June 16th Red and Fallow deer antler valuation and exposition
June 17th Red and Fallow deer antler valuation and exposition
June 18th Red and Fallow deer antler valuation, exposition, award ceremony
June 19th Phenotypic assessment of animals in the field
Participants: Latvian red and fallow deer breeding farms
Foreign fallow deer breeding farms
Animals are valuated:
- red and fallow deer breeding stages are valuated by their antler trophies in 6 age groups:
1. Spickers
2. II head
3. III head
4. IV -V head
5. VI and VII head
6.VIII and oldest
- one animal can participate in valuation of one age group;
- antlers cust in spring 2011 and cut in autumn 2010 are valuated;
- animals from Latvia and foreign farms are valuated separately;
- for valuation each breeding farm can present up to 9 antler pairs;
- each antler must be marked with a label containing fallowing information – country, farm, name/number of stag, year of birth, stags blood line.
Valuation is managing at least by 5 people committee. Valuation standards of fallow deer and red deer breeding programme are approved by Latvian Wild Animal Breeders Association.

Application for participation are accepted till June 10th, 2011 in Latvian Wild Animal Breeders Association office:

Participation fee
Participants with animal antlers for valuation is 100, - EUR (this fee includes all the events of four days, award ceremony, partly expert work, coffee, lunch brakes and open air party on June 18th)
For other people participate fee is 50, - EUR (includes lunch and coffee brakes).
